As a work from home business owner, I found the service Courtney provided to be a significant way to not only declutter some physical space, but also some mental brain space. If there is one thing that is worth your time and money, it's calling Courtney from Buffalo Room Refresh. We moved in to a new house in October and have several large and small projects to undertake — including furnishing and styling almost every room in the house. What first drew me to BRR was the ability to tailor your experience to your comfort level and budget. Courtney came to our home to walk through and offer suggestions to improve the spaces. This included suggestions to rearrange furniture, paint, and ideas of items to procure to compliment some pieces we already had. Courtney is kind, patient, and easy to talk to. She has a great eye for design while still prioritizing functionality. Our 2 hour consultation flew by and afterwards I was in a much better headspace and felt confident I could tackle the things we discussed. Courtney followed up our session that very day with a thorough summary of consultation, complete with her suggestions and directions. Additionally, Courtney provided furnishing suggestions and recommendations of great local businesses that sell furniture secondhand/vintage, bringing a sustainable and local approach to an industry that often pushes overconsumption. Courtney was phenomenal help with my air bnb project when I decided I was too pregnant to finish it myself. She helped decorate, organize, hang photos and make the space feel at home. I would hire again for another project and highly recommend. She was also super professional and kind.

Courtney is basically a design magician. I booked her DIY package and it was exactly what I needed. She showed up totally prepared (measuring tools, paint samples, the whole deal) and really took the time to listen to all my ideas before diving in. What I loved most is that she didn't just tell me to buy all new stuff—she helped me see my existing furniture in completely new ways that I NEVER would've thought of on my own. She also tweaked my ideas just enough to save me a ton of time, effort, and money (which I definitely appreciated!). The end result? I am OBSESSED. Like, walk-into-the-room-and-smile-every-time obsessed. I truly couldn't be happier and am so grateful for her help. If you're on the fence—just do it.
